This chess set combines a strategic game and the symbols of Ukrainian history and culture. The set includes a carved chessboard made of natural ash. The pieces are presented on two sides: “Ukrainian Cossacks” and “Armed Forces of Ukraine”. Each of the 32 pieces has high quality execution and detail. Particular attention is paid to the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the king is made in the image of Taras Shevchenko, and the queen in the image of Lesya Ukrainka. These pieces symbolize spiritual strength, wisdom and the desire for freedom.
